Built in Ireland. Built to Last.
Boyne Tech was founded to give Irish organisations access to senior-level data and technology expertise, without the overhead of a global consultancy.
Why we started Boyne Tech
We saw a clear gap in the Irish market. Large global consultancies brought expensive day rates and junior teams padded into engagements. Local generalist agencies lacked the specialist depth. Irish organisations, particularly in the public sector and regulated industries, were being underserved. We built Boyne Tech to fill that gap with senior people, genuine domain expertise, and a commitment to staying through delivery.
Our team brings experience across public sector analytics, financial services data platforms, healthcare information systems, and large-scale enterprise technology programmes. That breadth means we understand the contexts our clients work in: the governance requirements, the procurement processes, the internal politics that shape every programme.
We run a deliberately small, senior model. We don't staff engagements with graduates supervised from a distance. Everyone working on your project is an experienced practitioner who can contribute from day one and is accountable for the outcome.
How we operate
Honesty over comfort
We tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. If a proposed approach won't work, we say so early. That honesty earns longer relationships and better outcomes, even when it's uncomfortable in the short term.
Delivery over discussion
We move from conversation to production as fast as possible. Reports and roadmaps are useful. Working software and live dashboards are better. We measure our contribution by what is running, not what is in a document.
Quality without ceremony
We don't impose unnecessary process. We apply the right amount of rigour to the right problems, and no more. Pragmatism isn't a shortcut. It's a discipline that keeps teams focused on what actually matters.
Irish, not generic
We understand the context: public procurement, GDPR, the OGP frameworks, public sector pay constraints, the Irish tech talent market. That context isn't incidental. It shapes every engagement and every recommendation we make.
